Adding a Watermark to your video
Made by Riku-Kun
How to watermark using VirtualDub (it isn't really watermark, but it
works as if it was):
1) First of all, if you want to watermark your video, you should first convert your AMV to
AVI using any codec you want. (I recomend the Microsoft one's because it doesn't affect the quality of the video much.)
2) Once converted to AVI, import your AMV to Virtualdub, once there go to:
Video -> Filters -> Add->
Resize.
Then input the Widht and Height in the box that appeared, then enable the letter box and input the other Width
and Height for the letterbox, for example:
If you choosed to put as Width 720 and Height 420, you should put in the
Letterbox in Width 720 and Height 640 so you can add the text to your AMV.
3) During this step, you can follow
Synchro's FAQ to crop before watermark. If you don't want to, simply go to number 4.
4) Now to get the watermark
going, open MS Paint and make a text picture, with black on the background and your favored font and color typed on it.
My example:

Try to make it as the one I did, it doesn't matter what size you want for the text, remember that the text
you make, its going to appear in the AMV exactly as you made it.
So try to make the Image Box little, add a black
background and add your text, but be sure to make the height of the text nearly as big of the image box.
5) Once
done, it's time to add another filter to the video:
Video-> Filters -> Add -> Logo.
Then a window will
pop-up, just click to the button next to the first white box that looks like : "..." and choose the picture you just made.
Then go down and you will see that the X and Y boxes are back.
Just input the number you want in "Y" but be sure to
put the text in the letterbox.
6)When your done, be sure to check that the watermark is in the place you wanted with
the prview botton. If it does, choose a codec to compress your video (remember that the microsoft ones are the best) and
save it to AVI.
And Whoosh!, your AMV is watermarked!
And that was all for now. If something comes up, i will
be sure to edit the post again.
