How to Save a Windows Movie Maker Project
So you Have a Rockman AMV you made in Windows Movie Maker but you dont know how to save it as a WMV (Window Media Audio/Video)
so that other People can watch your work. well below I will explane how to save a Windows Movie Maker project file (.MSWMM) to a WMV.
Saving a Windows Movie Maker Project
- First Open your Windows Movie Maker Porject file (if its not open already) [ Screen Cap ]
- Go to File/Save Movie File... [ Screen Cap ]
- Select My Computer and click next [ Screen Cap ]
- In field 1. input the Name of the Video and in field 2. select where you want the file to be saved on your computer and click Next

- Now your at the Movie Setting window which shows three options.
- Best quality for playback on my computer (Automaticly selects the Video quality and file size)
- Best fit to file size (You get to pick how big the Movie file is)
- Other Settings (Other Preset Settings)
for our video im going to select Other Settings and choose Video for local playback (2.1 Mbps NTSC) now Click Next to start to render the Video

- Now sit back and watch your video render [ Screen Cap ]
- If you want to make sure that WMM did not freeze while rendering your video open Widnows Task Manager and go to the
Performance Tab if it drop below 90% and dose not go back up to 100% then your WMM has locked up.[ Screen Cap ]
- When its finished check the Play movie when I click Finish to play the movie right away. now click Finish [ Screen Cap ]
- Ta-da now you have made your Windows Movie Maker Project into a Video anyone can play.[ Screen Cap ]
