Remember when installing computer software meant that you had to watch your computer for several hours as you switched out each floppy one by one (Le sigh now installing floppy disk 7# out of 46#). Although for years now the floppy disk drives has been obsolete and are no longer in use in modern computers, they might still have a use so do not throw them away. I have recently found out that you can use floppy drives as a musical instrument recreating classic and modern songs.

I am taking a short break from studying for my calculus final to let everyone know that I have received your music video submissions to be added to the site. Unfortunately, I have been unable add them to the site due to being busy with school. Once I finish up my calculus final which is this Sunday, I will have tons of time to review and add your submissions to the site. Thanks for being patient with me.

Well Thanksgiving has come and gone, but I still wanted to drop by and wish everyone here a happy thanksgiving. It feels like ages since I've posted anything on this site worth reading since there really has not been any Mega Man related game news. I know I have talked with a few of the members here online recently and I shared my perspective on the current situation of the Mega Man franchise which is something I think most fans would agree with. As much as I hate saying this, I think Capcom should probably lay off the Mega Man series for awhile until they figure out what they want to do with it because rehashing 8-bit games just is not going to be as satisfying as it did when Mega Man 9 was released. I know that sounds a bit, well "non-fanish" to say something like that but you have to understand that I would rather see no Mega Man games being created than quickly made rehashes of what we already have. Mega Man holds a special place in my heart and I only want to see the best out of him, so if that means we don't get to see Mega Man for awhile featured in his own game then so be it. Who knows, perhaps Capcom does have a direction and plan about where to take the Mega Man series, but at this point in time I do not see anything that supports that idea. As far as I can see, the only thing being done with Mega Man is via the use of books, music, and cameos. Music and books I don't mind since I really enjoy reading and listening to music, but the cameos are getting a bit.... well, over used. Anyway, enough of my ramblings. I'll continue to update the website and post when needed. Again, happy thanksgiving everyone and I hope you all have a excellent black Friday.

So apparently Capcom was selling a Limited Edition 3DS Mega Man Case at Comic-Con this year and only 200 of these cases were made. They recently put them up for sale on the Capcom Store for $15.95 + S/H. I managed to grab one of them before they sold out for my 3DS and the package just arrived. So with that being said, lets start this review.
![]() So this is what you get in your package. Before I go on, I am going to discuss what is shown in the picture above. On the top cover of the 3DS crystal protection case is a holographic image of Mega Man X and Knight Man. No you do not need to go out and get your eyes examined, the top cover features Mega Man X and Knight Man. Now to the most important question I have seen several people ask when talking about this case, can you change picture? From what I can tell, NO. If you use this, you are forever stuck with Mega Man X and Knight Man unless you modify it in some way. With that out of the way, let us continue the review. ![]() On the bottom cover of the 3DS crystal protection case is the Comic-Con logo along with a production number, in this case mine is 72/200. As one would expect, there are openings in the case so that you can still access your stylus, SD card, volume, WiFi, etc... ![]() Another thing that has to be considered is the the fact that if you use this case you will no longer be able to use the 3DS charge station to recharge your 3DS. I don't know about you, but I actually like not having to worry about if the wire to charge my 3DS has fallen behind me desk, or shelf. The charge station makes it quick and easy to gain access to your 3DS as well as quickly get it back to charging. ![]() So what is my verdict? Well it really depends on the person. If you don't mind having Mega Man X and Knight Man as your display cover and not being able to use the 3DS charge station, then this is probably just what you need to protect your 3DS. You would have to check Ebay or Amazon for someone selling it since the Capcom Store is sold old and only 200 were made. But what if you don't like the Mega Man X and Knight Man cover or the fact that you would be unable to use your 3DS charge station? Well then you would be like me who won't be using it but will instead have it live in its original box where it will never see the light of day again amongst my other Mega Man collectors items. I was actually really disappointed with this case. If you remember, I reviewed the Mega Man DSL and DSI protection kit which was an outstanding case considering it not only allowed you to change the display art cover on your case, but it also added in a storage unit on the bottom of the case for three additional games. the 3DS version though falls short of amazing. You are unable to change out the artwork on the cover and I don't see why they did not just add in a storage unit into this model since the design already blocks people from using the 3DS charge station. Overall, I was disappointed. Check out the full image gallery here. Edit: It looks like you could "RIP" off the top faceplate cover with Mega Man X and Knight Man and replace it with something else. But at the same time it doesn't appear to be something you are "suppose" to be able to just normally do without breaking it or modifying it. And since I want to keep mine in mint condition, I don't plan on ruining it just to change the cover. 330 Views, and 1 Replies

Mega Man fans over at Capcom-Unity have been flooding the Unity forums with questions regarding Legends 3. One such topic called "Is there anything the fans can do to get MegaMan Legends 3 restarted?" has become quite the popular topic becoming 50 pages long (at the time of this writing). Mega Man enthusiastic and owner of the Rockman fan site Protodude's Rockman Corner, Protodude, posted a strong rebuttal against Capcom claiming that the fans were not involved enough in the Devroom.
After reading this post, Capcom-Unity member Justin replied back to Protodude adding another reason why fans why not have joined the Devroom.
Which Protodude replied back with the following.
After reading the posts mentioned above I went swimming and talked with my brother about this topic amongst other video game related topics. While I was swimming, it accrued to me that in addition to the points that Protodude and Justin brought up, some people like myself, might have not had the free time to participate as much as they would have liked.
So what can you take away from all of this? Well because of reasons Protodude, Justin, and myself mentioned, you can take away that fan participation does not always equal sales. News Credit: Capcom-Unity 318 Views, and 0 Replies
It has been only days after the dreaded cancellation announcement of Mega Man Legends 3, and campaigns for its revival have already popped up. One such campaign known as "100,000 Strong For Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3" on Facebook has the main objective to gather 100,000 members to show Capcom that we the fans want Legends 3 to be brought back. In only a matter of days, the group has managed to accumulate 11,405 members (As of this writing) and growing stronger everyday. At this pace the group will over come the 15,000 people who joined the Devroom worldwide in a period of over a year. I myself have joined this group and implore you the fans to join the group as well. Capcom has already blamed us the fans for not getting involved and showing a lack of interest based on the number of worldwide Devroom members, this is our chance to prove them wrong. Let us gather as one voice and show Capcom that this is what we the fans want. If you didn't have a Facebook acount, I strongly suggest creating one and taking part of this group. United we are strong, and can bring back our beloved blue bomber from Elysium. Join the group today and let our voices be heard. The developers behind Revenge Labs' 2D fighter Skull Girls, joined Legend fans and Mega Man series creator Keiji Inafune, in mourning the cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3. Below are a few images from the office whiteboard that were posted on Revenge Labs website.
To add the icing on the cake, RL Headmaster, Peter made this little nudge at Capcom "…Sad. So sad our artists are. They’ll never get to play Mega Man Legends 3 because, you know, the fans didn’t make enough art or program enough of the engine. Stupid fans – here’s some art to make you feel bad for what you didn’t do." I don't know about you, but this made me laugh, and oddly enough more interested in Skull Girls (School Girls, I see what you did there Revenge Labs). I want to change the topic a bit from news of Legends 3 cancellation and promote youtube user 331Erock (Eric). Every Mega Man fan knows that there is nothing like a good heavy metal remix of some of our favorite tunes from the Mega Man series. Heck, Metal and Mega Man go together like peanut butter and jelly. Eric has several themes ranging from Mega Man 1 (Stage Select), Mega Man 3 (Title Theme), Mega Man 4 (Title Theme), and Zero's Theme, all remixed to make one outstanding song. I have heard SEVERAL fan remixes of Mega Man songs and most of the time they don't seem to get it right. Either they favor one instrument over another, or they get the pitch of the notes off. Epic however, has managed to created in my opinion one of the most epic fan versions of these songs I have heard as of yet. Don't believe me? Well check out the video and listen for yourself.
Hopefully this cheers a few people up during this time of uncertainty with a franchise most of us hold close to our heart. 411 Views, and 2 Replies
