Capcom of Japan has recently opened up a website for a Rockman Zero Collection which will be coming to the Nintendo DS. Not much is currently known about this title, but I believe its safe to say that this game will feature all four of the Zero games. Hey everyone, it is time to announce this falls AMV of the Season winner. We had a lot of good entries and before I announce the winner I would just like to thank everyone who participated, it was fun getting to watch each one of your entries. Now unfortunately, there can be only one winner. Judging was based upon Editing, Sync, Skill, Effort and Replay Value and based upon many other variables.
1st Place Entry: Heatman's Fire by Dark Rockman Comment: I really liked the creative way Dark Rockman made this music video, specifically I enjoyed the creative use of lip sync in this video. I also enjoyed the overall editing, originality of this video and felt it deserved the top spot in this contest. I always enjoy to see what new and creative ideas you guys come up with, and this video really showed off Dark Rockman's more creative side.
Congratulations Dark Rockman, I here by award you with this banner to place along side your AMV.

2nd Place Entry: Ryuusei No Rockman AMV - Breath by Juuniji009 Comment: Juuniji009 yet again brings us another quality rockman music video that everyone can enjoy. I liked the editing in this video and the general theme of villains throughout the Shooting Star Rockman series. This video definitely deserves second place.
3rd Place Entry: The Heroes of 21XX by Wild Kaos Comment: I really felt that the song "A Hero Comes Home" was a great pick by Wild Kaos for a Mega Man X music video. Its a slow dramatic song that fits with the chaos and story in the X series. You really don't get many dramatic music videos that use the X series so Wild Kaos' "The Heroes of 21XX" is a refreshing pace from what we usually get.
4th Place Entry: How far we've come by Dragonsclaw Comment: You don't often see montage videos of all the Styles, Soul Unions, Crosses from the Rockman EXE Anime and Dragonsclaw's music video "How far we've come" shows just how one can be done. I personally like how the video shows just how the EXE anime series progressed.
Again, thanks to everyone who participated in this seasons contest and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with for the Winter Season. Oh and before I forget, Happy New Years from everyone here at The Rockman Anime Music Video Station, hope to see you all again in 2010.
Merry Christmas Everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season. Anyway, I managed to get my self a copy of Nintendo Power issue 250 and took the time to scan the magazine so that everyone may enjoy the awesomeness to holds inside. In a segment called "The Tenth Degree", Keiji Inafune is interviewed and answers several questions asked by editor Chris H. related to the Mega Man series and specifically Mega Man 10. One question I thought was interesting was why Mega Man 9 and 10 went back to the 8-bit style of graphics. To see what Keiji Inafune say, check out and read the article in the images below.

Besides the Mega Man 10 Article seen above, Nintendo Power listed the top 250 reasons why they love Nintendo. Surprisingly enough, I never saw this article mentioned anywhere on the net. You might be wondering why I found the absence of this article surprising. Well the answer is because several of the top 250 reasons they love Nintendo involved Mega Man related things (Smiles)
Edit: It appears The Mega Man Network actually posted a news article about this a few days ago. Obvious I fail at reading (Laughs)

Today is Mega Man's 22nd Birthday, and in honor of his birthday, Capcom threw him a Webcast party for the entire internet too enjoy. In fact 80,000 viewers world wide watched the event and had their questions answered by Keiji Inafune himself. Here is a summary of the Q&A session brought to you by GoNintendo.com
- Inafune says moving into 3d once again would be tough, because 2d and 3d Mega Man fans would have different expectations, and there are some elements of Mega Man in the 2d realm that just wouldn't translate to 3d.
- Inafune would love to make a new entry in the X series, but he says he happens to be very busy. Before X9 were to happen, Inafune would like to do something completely different with Mega Man.
- Inafune says 8-bit is where Mega Man was born, and he hasn't done everything he wants to with 8-bit Mega Man. As far as a Mega Man series entry that is 16-bit in style, he'll have to see where the series leads him.
- Inafune likes the idea of a Mega Man game with hand-drawn graphics (Muramasa), but he doesn't want to just imitate that idea.
- Inafune says Mega Man Powered Up 2 has a strong possibility of happening.
For those that missed the webcast but would still like to hear it, go check out Rockman Perfect Memories, they were nice enough to record the audio from the event and host it for everyone to enjoy. I personally enjoyed the webcast and I managed to get the US announcers to yell "Its a trap" and suggest "Da Man" as a new boss character (laughs). Oh by the way, Hironobu Takeshita Mega Man 9 and 10 Producer is now known as Fail Man, a nickname given to him by over 60,000+ fans.
Nintendo Power Issue 250 is finally available for purchase and comes with a ton of new Mega Man 10 information for fans to enjoy, specifically, the unveiling of a new Robot Master "Commando Man" and the release date for Mega Man 10.
