Vegas Problems

Here's a first for me. Sony Vegas isn't taking the import of a movie well. The stream attributes of the video and audio could not be determined...can someone please enlighten me on how to fix this?

I've have this problem before, and have no way of solving it. Apparently Vegas doesn't like videos encoded in DivX or XviD, and so the best you could do is import it in WMM, and then make a high quality WMV of the part you want.

Reinstalling all your codecs might help(don't take the Xvid of the codec packs, just download a seperate DivX/Xvid codec)

Since I can open Xvid etc with my Vegas
