Maybe the Wireless Router your trying to connect to needs a WEPKEY for accessing the connection.
I let you the Help page of nintendo, be sure to follow the instructions they give you, maybe your problem will be resolved.

If you need to change or edit your wireless router settings just open your default browser and in the adressbar type in your IP.
