Rules for the General AMV of the Month Contest

1. AMV must be original content made by the entrant.

2. AMV must not contain any images/footage of doujin/hentai/porn.

3. AMV must not contain footage from another AMV (AMV's with stolen footage will be removed from contest).

4. AMV must not contain anything inappropriate in it. This includes Footage, Sound Effects, Music, Voices or anything else not suitable for viewers of all ages.

4a. This is an additional rule on rule 4: The music has an exclusion, which is cussing words that aren’t a direct insult to anyone and are not meant in a sexual/discriminating fashion. For example(examples of what is allowed): “Screw the Rules, I've got money” or “I don’t give a F”.

5. The AMV will be judged on Theme, Editing, Originality, Sync and Overall Replay Value(ofcourse in comparison with the skills of the creator).

6. You should enter all needed info, as stated below in the “Needed info for AMV entry” section.

7. AMV topic should have the complete name of the used footage(I prefer the Japanese names).

8. AMV must be Anime related to enter the contest.

8a. This is an additional rule on rule 8: You can use footage of: any non-rockman related anime; any anime styled cartoon(Avatar for example) but I might not allow all series so if you are not sure if I’ll allow it then just ask by PM; any non-rockman ingame footage from anime games(for example “Tales of Symphonia”)(again, PM me if you are not sure if its allowed); and any combo AMV of a Rockman series in combination with a non-rockman allowed series/movie(for example: an AMV with Rockman.EXE and Medarot footage).

9. If you break any rules you will be removed from the contest, if you break rule 1, 2, 3 or 4(or multiple of those) then you will also get a temp. ban since its against the rockmanamv board rules. If you break any of the first 4 rules again you’ll get a permanent ban.

10. AMV’s will be judged by AGF-Antoine; the Rockman Anime Music Video Station Staff and the “Trusted Members” usergroup.

10a. This is an additional rule on rule 10: If I (AGF-Antoine) enter the contest then I wont do the final judging. In that case the final judging goes to XHunter.

11. Entry is open during the first 3.5 weeks of a new month. The last 0.5 week will be used for the final judging and the banner creation.

12. The winner will be awarded with a banner for winning the contest which will contain: the name of the AMV creator, the title of the AMV, the Month and Year the AMV won and “General AMV of the Month Contest Winner”; And the specific AMV will be entered in the “Hall of Fame” together with its banner and the AMV info.

13: An AMV that has won will not be allowed to be entered in any following contest, nor is a version 2 of that specific AMV.

14: If there are less then 2 entries in a month the contest will be delayed till next month. If the next month its still less then 2 its delayed again untill there are 2 or more entries.
