I liked a girl once, then she blew a friend of mine (said friend knew I liked her).
Since then I shut down on relationships...and overtime I've come to think of the entire concept of being in a relationship as a pointless waste of time.
Despite that however, a part of me still holds on to a shred of hope that I'll come upon a girl who compliments me perfectly.
Why? Because of the old saying, "There are other fish in the sea."
You got dumped by one, sure, but there are more out there. Some will be better than the one you knew. Yeah, it may hurt, but in time you will get over it. As males of the human race it is in our genetic design to have multiple partners, the notion of monogamy and relationships are just a byproduct of our high intellect.
What I'm trying to say is, in time you will get over this and eventually you will come across someone better.
As the old saying goes, "You can't find love, love will find you."
"With great power comes great responsibility."
"In Science and Technology, you will find the Truth."
