Coro Coro Character Contest Details Revealed

Thanks to we have learned that Coro Coro magazine has revealed a character design contest for the Rockman series. The character design contest will be judged by Keiji Inafune, the Capcom development staff, and the editor of Coro Coro Comics. The first prize winner of the contest will have their character appear in a "new Rockman story" and receive tons of Rockman goodies. The second prize winner will receive Rockman goodies along with a special Coro Coro item. Coro Coro Magazine will unveil more contest details on February 13th, 2009.

The magazine article does not mention anything about reviving one the of older inactive Rockman series (X, DASH, etc...), but lets not count that out as a possibility. For now, all we know is that a character design contest is being held for a new character in an upcoming installment in any one of the Rockman series. Personally, I would love to see a continuation in the Rockman DASH Series.
