Wow, it's nice to know how many people are happy to see I'm back. I can see you're all anxious for stories.

Well, ok...but remember you asked for it. This one's on the lighter side.

This is a photo from the time I went on the Bike Jumps with the other missionaries in the Fairgrounds area. (Once in a while we got to take a short break and get rid of some stress by playing sports and the like. This was one of those times.) I had never been on a bike jump course before, but I was determined to get the most air I possibly could...and I did. Unfortunately, I hadn't yet learned how to land. Here's the aftermath:



Just look at that pretty face. Lucky for me, there was sawdust on the other side of the jump...unluckily, it was frozen solid. Later, all that slightly scraped-looking area turned into oozing red scabs. The cuts under my eyelid healed quite nicely, though, and now you can barely any scars.

FOr some reason it won't show the last 1/2 second of video, but if it did, you'd see my signature "thumbs up" as I knelt bleeding on the ground.
